James Nordin retired from Federal service after 30+ years as a program and financial manager.  He is an adjunct professor at Sonoma State University and Golden Gate University in their Masters of Public Administration Programs and serves as Rio Vista City Treasurer.  His volunteer work includes Treasurer of RioVision; Board member, American Society for Public Administration; Board member, Solano Community Foundation; President, Rio Vista Community Center; and founding member and treasurer of the Section on Democracy and Social Justice.

P. C. Kumar retired as Professor Emeritus, American University, Washington DC, and has been a resident of Rio Vista since 2005. He has volunteered as "math-aide" to Rio Vista HS students and has taught English in the Solano County Literacy Program. He is President, Rio Vista Foundation, and member of Water and Waste Water Monitoring Committee, City of Rio Vista.

Derek Jones moved to Rio Vista over 15 years ago. He has a degree in Cost and Management Accounting from England. He was the owner of an automotive manufacturing business for 30 years. Derek has 24 years leading nonprofit organizations and in grant writing.

Linda Orrante is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, currently a consultant for government and nonprofit organizations, and a retired director of child welfare services at Solano County Health & Social Services.

John Tappero is Vice President of the Rio Vista Senior Center and a member of the National Council of Senior Centers. He was Facility Manager for ARV Assisted Living. He was involved in the design and contruction of assisted living facilities such as the Florence Sylvester Memorial Senior Center and construction manager of the Dana Point City Hall comples. He has lived in Rio Vista since 2010.

Adriana Bejarano is the Executive Director of Rio Vista CARE and has been a long time resident of Rio Vista. She is an alumni of UC Davis and has worked in non-profit organizations for the last 28 years. An ongoing mission is to create a space in which to come together for  our youth, families and individuals in our community.

Hope Cohn, a founder of Rio Vista Youth Services, moved to Rio Vista in 2006 from Pleasant Hill, CA. She is past president of Soroptimist International of Rio Vista and has been a member since 2007. Hope is a Vice President at Bank of America and works in the computer field.

Mark Flowers is the Supervising Librarian at the Rio Vista Library. He has worked as a Young Adult Librarian for Solano County, and as a public benefits advocate at various nonprofits in San Francisco. In his copious free time, he builds elaborate forts with his two children and plays guitar in a two-piece band

Eddie Woodruff served on the City Council in 2000, as Vice Mayor in 2002 and Mayor in 2004-2008.  He was City Treasurer from 1999-2000, Chair of the Solano County Water Agency, and the Solano Transportation Authority.  He served on the Hwy 12 and Rio Vista Army Base Steering Committees, RV Chamber of Commerce and is a 27 year member and former President of the Rio Vista Rotary Club.

Virginia Albertson is a former elementary school teacher with a BS in Education from Indiana University. A resident of Rio Vista for 12 years,she is the current President of Women’s Improvement Club.

Dr. David B Hastings Sr. DC  Born and raised in Oregon. Graduated North Salem High 1968. Pre-med OCE Oregon State. Married to Annette 1970, Graduated North Salem 1969. Palmer Chiropractic Collage in Iowa 1971, Graduated 1975 Los Angeles Chiropractic Collage 1975.  Married 45 years, 4 children, 11 grandkids.  Practice in Anaheim ca. before moving to Rio Vista, march 1977.  Joined RV chamber 1977, joined RV Lions 1977.  Pilots Lic. 1978.  Member/Deacon Windborn Church.  Past Member;  Rv Airport Bd.-RV RecreationBd- Solano County airport/land use Comm.-RV Waerfront development Comm.- We love the Delta,  its people, and the Life style here.

Christy Ricketts has lived in Rio Vista over 30 years. While her six children attended Rio Vista schools, she was became very involved with youth activities and programs. She works at River Delta Unified School District where her responsibilities include Federal and State Program, Youth Advocacy, Testing, and other duties. She is a board member of the Rio Vista Food Pantry and active in her church.
